Email Finding Assistance – via Google Search
1. Complete the form below, with the domains sales details. On submission, you will need to copy the generated URL, and paste it into the ‘destination URL’ area, within our Namecheap domain control panel – then clicking on the green tick to save it.
2. When within the domain control panel – you will also need to scroll down to, and click ‘Sell Domain’ button on right (below) domain ‘Billing Contacts’ address info.
3. It may take a little while for changes to take place. You can check by going to your domain name – until you get to the DotComble ‘For Sale’ page – at which time, your domain name is ready to promote with the 2nd email.
If doing several domains at once, you may want to first put them all up for sale, at max time (currently 90 days) at whatever price (currently £85 = $102).
1. After making the purchases, and whilst logged in to the account (‘Account’ > ‘Dashboard’) – select ‘Domain List’ from the left side menu.
2. From the list of domains, make sure each one is ‘For Sale’, by clicking on ‘Manage’ to the right of each domain, then from the domain name manage screen, scrolling down the page (just below all of the domain contact details) on the right, and select ‘Sell Domain’. You will need to keep your list of domain names, in your dashboard (spreadsheets) , and open up another window to complete the following tasks – for ease of editing.
3. It can now take some time (possibly 24hrs) to appear in the market place – so the next stages may need to be done the following day. The next process is to locate your name in the market place – however, you should be able to shortcut to No.8 below, as your marketplace URL should be https://www.namecheap.com/market/buynow/yourdomainname.com/ (domain name all in lower-case)
4. From the top menu, select ‘Domains’ and then ‘Marketplace’ from the drop-down menu.
5. Within the Marketplace page, just below the ‘Market’ banner, select ‘Buy Now’.
6. Now enter your domain name within the search box, and it should immediately locate the domain (if not, check it is for sale, spelling correct, and you have left it a few hours since placing for sale) which should appear with the price you have set for it in USD.
7. After finding your domain in the search, click on the domain link, to be taken to the domain name for sale page. This should now be the landing page, when anyone clicks on the ‘Buy Now’ button, within your domain Sales Page.
8. On your account page, the ‘Manage’ button on the right, is now a drop-down from an ‘Edit Listing’ button. From the manage page, enter your Sales Page URL – generated from the above form, in the ‘Redirect Domain’ section, in place of the destination URL already visible (which should have been the original domain URL) and then click on the green tick to the right, to update. You can also get the Sales Page URL, when at Stage-5 (after completing the form in Stage-4) by right-licking the ‘See Landing Page…’ button, and selecting, ‘copy link address’.
9. Now test that by clicking on your domain name. You should arrive at the DotComble ‘for sale’ page. Check all of the info, description (including plurals if used), and prices are correct. Then test that the ‘but now’ button resolves to the Namecheap domain purchase page.
